This Privacy Policy explains how Scaffworks Scaffolding Industry LLC ("we", "us"), United Arab Emirates, collects and processes personal data through the Ujrah mobile application ("the app"). It is provided in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

1. Personal data we collect

• Anonymous device identifier (browsing). On first launch the app creates an anonymous ID so we can count unique users and understand general usage. It is not linked to your name.
• Account data (equipment owners). If you sign in to list equipment, Google Sign-In provides your name, email address, and Google account ID, used to manage your listings.
• Listing content (owners). Title, company name, photos, rates, working hours, contact number, and a location/service area you choose — published publicly so renters can find and contact you.
• Location. With your permission, your device location shows nearby equipment and distances, and lets owners set a listing's location. Renter location is processed on your device; the only location we store is the one an owner sets for their listing.
• Usage analytics. Anonymous events and general device/app information, via Google Firebase Analytics.
• Crash diagnostics. If the app crashes, Google Firebase Crashlytics collects technical details (device model, OS version, and the cause of the crash) so we can fix it. This is not used to identify you.
• Sponsor ads. The app shows a small banner of sponsor/partner ads. Your approximate area (worked out from device location, on your device) is used only to choose which ads are relevant; we log anonymous "ad shown" / "ad tapped" counts. We do not use a third-party advertising network and do not share your data with advertisers.

2. Purposes & lawful basis (PDPL Art. 4)

We process personal data to operate the marketplace, to measure and improve the app, and to keep it secure. Our lawful bases are your consent (withdrawable at any time), performance of the service you request, and our legitimate business interests. By using the app you consent to the processing described here.

3. Sharing & cross-border transfer (PDPL Art. 13, 22–23)

Listings (including photos, company name, and contact number) are public by design. We use Google Firebase and Google Maps as service providers; these may process data on servers outside the UAE. By using the app you give your explicit consent to this cross-border processing under appropriate safeguards. Tapping "WhatsApp" or "Call" opens those third-party apps. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls.

5. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed. Owners may delete listings any time in the app, and you may request account deletion (see §6).

6. Your rights under the PDPL (Art. 13–17)

You have the right to be informed; to access and obtain a copy; to rectify; to erase; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; to object to automated decision-making; and to withdraw consent. To exercise these, email info@scaffworks.com. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office.

7. Children

Ujrah is intended for businesses and adults (18+) and is not directed at children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change.
